Hehe. You are the one falling for the myth about MP myth. DXOMark has a lengthy article that explains why more megapixels is NOT a bad thing. It does NOT negatively influence low light capabilities, contrary to popular belief.
I never disagreed with that, but that's not what I'm talking about-- I'm talking about sensor capabilities, which is the core issue in the MP myth. Just because something has 3 more MP than something else doesn't make it better at all... the quality of the sensor is essential, no? I'm not saying its a bad thing, but to say that this 5MP camera from this manufacturer is worse than this 8MP camera from a different manufacturer solely based on MP... that's the crux of the MP fallacy.

IIRC, it's a feature, not a flaw.
I actually love this feature, because text messages tend to be more important than other notifications, so if I'm busy and I feel a single-vibrate I know not to worry about it and can look later, wheras if it's a double vibrate I'll look a lot sooner.

So, does anyone want to buy this option with their mac and I'll pay the $60 for both of them. Ok... $70 for your time and shipping. ;)
Well, lets see where would they put it? Between Mac Mini and iMac.... you know in that $200 difference. Or maybe between iMac and Pro Mac.... in that what $300 difference. It seems like the Mac Mini bump and iMac expansion have left no room in the line-up for another Mac. Even with conroes... all speeds, sizes, prices are covered. There isn't room for a Conroe Mac. Period.
They probably aren't even going to use Conroe chips because I bet its a lot more work to redesign the iMac to use Conroe and then set up another supply chain just for Conroe chips when they could just use Merom and Woodcrest solely, it seems to fulfill their line-up well and makes it simpler for logistics.
I bet you a BT Might Mouse we won't see a Conroe Mac in the next 4 months.

Each one of those at the very least brings into question how the religious beliefs of the Hebrews as a whole differed from those of their polytheistic contemporaries, especially in the period before 580BCE. Abraham may have made a covenant, but it was not with Jehovah, it was with El. It says so in the bible. So much of the mythology, Noah/Utnapishtim, etc., is taken directly from other sources that it really beggars belief to treat the story of the Hebrew god(s) as anything other than a continuation of previous beliefs and story-cycles.

if Adobe can get it's s*** together and make Flash work on OS X, then I would be more opposed to Apple's reluctance to see it ported to iPhone.

Someone just pointed out that the Mac Pro logic board has two SATA drive ports marked as ODD SATA. We think it is for an Optical Disc Drive SATA connection. Blu-ray perhaps?

Still on the fence about getting the 11.6" mba. While small, I think multitasking will be a nightmare on it. So cute though!
I tried it out at the Apple Store today, and I think all the multitasking aides built into OS X (Spaces, Expose, four-finger gestures, etc) are enough to compensate for the small screen size. It's 1000x better than using XP on my 10" Dell netbook :rolleyes:

I don't know the answer to question one, but the answer to the second question is yes. On top of that, the rate of conviction of blacks is higher.

As far as the iPhone goes, it looks a hell of a lot more believable than all the other potential "iPhones" around the internet.You guys are all screaming "fake" and "terrible design" which makes me think back to when the "MacBook" and "MBP" names were circulating around...and the switch to Intel.....and the switch to intel integrated graphics. Then when it turned out to be real you whined like a bunch of children, began to accept it, and now you love it (minus the integrated graphics.....even it's own mother hates it).

wireless capabilities is the way of the future. I don't see ourselves in 10 years still being limited by wired headphones and such. Maybe it'll be easier than the Zune (haven't seen the demo) but the idea of beaming a song for somebody else to download/hear is pretty cool to me.

That's why I own what I own and not something else. Besides, if I'm wearing headphones that probably means I'm not with anyone I know, and I'm certainly not going to be sharing music with strangers because it would just be weird.

The iPhone 4.. A POS :D that's what it is. And that's not a wild hyperbole. A wild hyperbole would be "it's the worst phone ever, in the universe" Compared to the other iphones, it is. Actually, it sounds as if your exaggerating what I'm saying for the sake of envoking feelings... Which is a hyperbole. :-)
What makes it a piece of ****, exactly? The issues it had early on that were fixed with the software update? It's much more superior in every way to the 3GS than the 3GS was to the 3.
Personally, I've sold my past iphones on craigslist, and bought the new model each year since the 3G, and actually made money from one to the next each time (sold the 3GS for $315, and bought the 4 for $230...or whatever it was to do an early upgrade)...never got why more people didn't do that.
Oh, back on topic...I'll sell my iphone 4 for more than it's gonna cost me for the 5 no matter when they put it out and what they have on it and I reckon I'll be happy. ;)
