I have filed on July 2nd itself and still no receipt, no FP notice, nothing. Called USCIS 3 times and they asked me to wait until it's been 3 months after the filing. Then only they will do something it seems.
BTW, how can I get to 2 Level representative?

I have got EAD and AP.I think i would not have got them if the 140 is not filled.
I also know the date on which he filled. but employer is not sharing the receipt because there is no mandate for him to do so.

I got an email from my lawyer who indicates the RFE is related to my medical missing from the 483 package we sent. I am pretty positive we sent it, but seems like USCIS has some way to firing a RFE.
Anyway, my lawyer is asking me that getting a new medical done would be better as that is quick and more pratical. Don't know if that might be true.
Any ideas for those who got RFE for medical?
I too got RFE for medical forms. My attorney asked me to get the medical exam redone as USCIS updated the medical exam requirements in 2008, now doctor has to include the x-ray report along with I693(this was not there in 2007) if tbskin test >= 5mm. Given all the changes i got it redone just to be safe and we are preparing to respond to RFE.

We never had to tell the IO to do anything. They knew what to do.
But if some IO tries to keep a copy of the original after the initial time - I would tell them that it is the only original that you have left.
But we never had that problem to deal with.

The only time they keep an original is the first time. After that they never keep the original but return it to you when you return.
My wife and I only had 2 AP originals when we applied last year and made 2 trips outside the US. So relax and dont worry. You're fine.

Well How do you know that all the members who are registered with IV is aware of this Webfax? Did you guys notify them in anyway? Do you expect/mandate all the IV members should be checking the website/forums all the time? No Hard feeling.... Just my 2 cents

1) The immigration debate is really hot. Monday is when the action starts. its not something 2 years down the line. Hence, we hope that members keep on updating themselves by visiting the site regularly
2) We cannot send an email everytime we want to send a webfax because initially we were thinking of sending a new fax every 2 days last week. But on advise of QGA, we decided to send only one fax. If we had gone the route of sending a fax every 2 days, would it be appropriate to send an email every two days? We do not want to associate IV's newsletter with some junkmail that comes everyday!

Also... You can submit your husbands work papers as you are a dependent.
If you are an engineer then definitely you should have an ecnr but you can have what ever is on your current passport

She need to have AP in hand before leaving the country. I would suggest to take an INFOPASS and go the local office tell them the situation, they should be able to give you the AP there.
