since this i believe is just a test shot i think most of what j said is spot on probably easier to just use a fill flash the 550 digital flash by cannon works great for that outside when you have shadows. in the future i would try composing with your subject off center some or filling the frame more to instead of hide her facial imperfections bring them out in high detail older people are far more interesting when you can see the wrinkles and imperfections of course these are all just my oppinions

Remember not all job classification qualify for EB2, especially software related, check O*Net and then in this economy employer need to test the market and prove that he couldn't find a qualified american worker! Unless it's specialized skill i don't think it's easy!
If Priority date is usable even though I-140 revoked by the employer......this looks fantastic option to join new job where we can get Eb2 process.

Ask your company to demote you to developer position once u get ur green card. GC is for a future job position.

This is the first time i have applied for my I-485 and i am on H1b befor this and my record is very very clean...
Coming to the address on my I-485 i called up USCIS and also went fr an INFOPASS appointmentt and i was told that the address i told matched with theirs on the file...when i asked for a second copy to be sent they said that it will take 30-45 days for me to receive it...i am really worried..
Since the USCIS case status said "We mailed you a decision on 29'th NOV " and it is not 30 days wil it still be considered abandenonment denial??
Does any of you know whether my dependents need to sign the Appeal/motion to reopen or my attorney can file on their behalf??

If one is applying I 140 and I 485 concurrently, will EAD come after I 140 gets approved or EAD will come irrespective of I 140 is approved or not?

I am an July 2007 485 filer and did the biometrics within couple of months after that. Last year applied EAD and AP by paper filing so there was no biometrics.
May be its my wild hope... still..
If by any magic the processing dates moved by Oct. 2009 and I am current(:) I know its very little chance), as I am planning to apply my AP renewals now, is it good to do e-filing since it will trigger to do the biometrics also and there won't be any delay in the form of RFE's in regards to fingerprinting expiry or so?

I e-filed both EAD and AP this year and I got both approvals without going for biometrics. This was my first e-filing and all my previous applications were paper based. I only went for biometrics 1 time in Oct 2007. TSC used the photo and FPs from my biometrics appointment for my EAD as I did not mail them any photos. So its not necessary that you will be called for finger printing when you e-file. If they have your photo and FPs digitally stored, they will use them. I assume they would do the same if your PD becomes current.

It is your employer how have to support your H1B renewal inform him before itself.
If EAD is expired you will not be able to work until you get extension but since you are working for the same employer and if your H1 gets extension approval then I think you can switch from EAD to H1B even after EAD gets expires.

I came across comments that H1 to EAD is one way. So its better to be in H1 rather than being in EAD. The expenses may not be great even you have to shell out some dollars. If you wish to change jobs and get around 30% increase use EAD.
I attended an interview that i have EAD then when it came to negotiations on salary i accepted the little lower offer and asked them to do H1B transfer. It works....

Not having experience with that particular lens, however I would ask if you are sure you can live with a variable aperture lens that goes all the way to 5.6 on the long end...and are you sure you can live within those limitations?

I..sort of have turned philosophical abt the whole process. Having said that, I also see bright flashes off and on...(just kiddin'). I talk optimism, walk optimism, eat optimism, sleep optimism :) ..ends here!.
If all that it takes is - a copy of our presentation to be mailed/emailed to this 'super cop' of a minister or his office, I would still do it. That way, I have at least challenged him..

i agree with crystal. If you are not yet married, i would advice to get married soon. Once if you plan to jump on EAD, it is not easy to come back to H1. If you apply for h1 extension, you have get it stamped..

Since this thread is open and dont want to wast resouce on new thread. I want to ask people those who had already filed 485/EAD/AP that did anyone has taken photos at Walgreens.
I am getting $7.99 for taking 2 photos at Walgreens($48 for 2person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee. Whereas in Kinko's I am getting deal of $13.50 for first 2 photo and rest 4 photos for $13.50 ($54 for 2 person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee city area.
Now question besides money I want to know which one is worth taking chance for taking a picture interms of quality.

I talked to an IO at TSC couple of days back and she said 180 day rule does not hold yet, it starts only after Feb 09. And that my 485 can only be processes if NC is cleared (yes mine is still pending, wondering why :confused:).

Me and my wife are on EAD and son is US citizen. Have travelled to India 3 times in last 2 years and POE was Newark, New Jersey airport everytime. Latest was March 15, 2009.
Used Advance Parole to enter everytime.
No problem ever. Only required to wait in another room till advance parole is stamped.
this time however they asked questions like profession. how many years in comapny etc. ?

EAD Renewal can be filed if EAD has expired or will expire within 120 days. The process is the same for both and can be done on your own - Its really simple
If you efile you have to go for biometrics. If you paper file you need to send photos. I don't think there is much difference in the time for approval
