Soooo tomorrow is the day. Finally, months after watching those damn east coasters get a taste of PAX, it's back home on the best coast. Huzzah!

Well Amazon started selling Beatles CDs for 7.99 each right after iTunes got the Beatles Catalogue. Pretty much below cost but a lost leader for them.
I don't see why Apple would care. They get paid by the retailer.
It cheapens their product and pisses of their retailers.
Isn't there some kinda law against price fixing like this?
No but as stated before, if a chain is undercutting others then the manufacturer can choose not to sell to that retailer.

Where are all the people who were ranting here for years over ATT and wanting VERIZON?
Sure, there are many locked into contracts, but where are all the NEW customers that were ranting that they were waiting for a VERIZON iPhone and kept slamming ATT?
Is this due to "antennagate?" I seriously doubt that.
Apparently, they were the trolling vocal minority according to this report.
Either that or Apple & ATT's marketing campaign that pitted the advantages of GSM over CDMA actually worked. Hmm.
That and I honestly haven't seen nearly as many ads from VERIZON over the iPhone than when ATT had it exclusively & originally. I think VERIZON was busy counting the eggs before they hatched.

I have my iphoto library on an external drive connected to my mini server thats running all the time, and have set up access for my wife on her imac and my mbp to access it.
in your case, maybe a sharepoint with permissions set to only certain users.

If I ever get an iPhone again, I will never, ever update the software until waiting a couple months and finding out if it's causing problems for people. When Apple released their 3.0 iOS, it made my iPhone 2G so laggy that it pretty much broke the phone.
