Another factor I think that effects the different resale value is the fact that the MBP is portable.
Since the MBP is carried around there is a high chance that it had a small bump or two. Which lowers the resale value. While the MP is in a single place (for most people) and thus the case is still in "perfect" condition.
Another thing is that the MBP has a battery that after a few recharge cycles it would start to deteriorate thus reducing it's functionality and resale value. Depending on it's cindition the buyer would need to send the MBP to Apple to have it replaced extra cost on the buyer.
This is what I think. If I would buyer a second hand MBP I would take these factors into consideration apart from the usual dilemmas about it's CPU and the rest.

No, it looks very awesome. Since there are no movies at 1440p there is no comparison though.

In 90% of what we say, does it have any point to it? You say, "Hello." What's the Point? You already know that you know them, and they know that you know them; therefore is there any point in saying hello, if you can just smile, showing you've acknowledged them. It also may be referring to suicide, but I haven't read the context - Hellhammer, Herdfan: if you feel you're about to commit suicide, DON'T listen to Adele. :)
Basically, don't laugh at other people's mistakes; both of them were innocent mistakes - there's no need to point them out - they know what they did, even if it's subconscious - we know what they mean.

I suggest you make some wild and unsubstantiated claims about Macs and PC's or something similar to get it started with a nice big flame-war.
How about one of these:
2.5ghz G5 is just an overclocked 2.0. Otherwise why would it need to be watercooled?
It's about time Apple made a Phone/PDA
Apple ought just get real and start using Intel/AMD and get their new cases redesigned by Alienware. OH and get some decent games...

so im going to italy from california and i was thinking of getting a psp game for the plane rides. these are pretty darn long - 10 hours (i dunno). so for there and back 10 hours after subtracting listening to ipod and socializing. what game would you recommend?

The thing with the loophole is, even the AT&T employees do it. Nobody cares and they won't do anything when you upgrade. All that matters is that you are grandfathered into it.

After reading the review, they have some benchmarks in there that are favorable (around 30fps at 1440x900 on Quake 4). This is their final conclusion:

As for the MRX1600, medium to high quality graphics settings are playable on the ASUS A7V's native 1440x900 panel, and that's about all we can say right now. The mid-range mobile market has generally been very strong for ATI, and this part looks to have a good balance of power and efficient performance.
Looks promising, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Nvidia or the current 9700 in the next-gen Powerbooks.

Yes, the 27" supports two external monitors via TB. Each port can support one monitor and 5 other data devices (or no video and 6 data devices). You'd just need the appropriate MDP adapters.

i have the windows cd but i have no idea how to repair it using the cd. can someone help me with the commands?

If XP: Insert disc, hold alt/opt at startup then choose the Windows disc. Wait for the computer to load all the drivers etc. Then press the following keys in the following order: 'Enter', 'F8', then 'R'. Then follow the onscreen prompts. It'll look like Windows is reinstalling itself but it is actually just repairing the system. All your files and settings will be preserved.
Vista/7: Insert disc, hold alt/opt at startup then choose the Windows disc. Wait for the computer to load the Windows installer. Choose language/kb layout/etc then click Next. Don't click Install now, instead, select Repair your computer. Choose your Windows installation in the popup and click Next. Installer will search for problems and give you the option to repair you installation, if possible.

Either way Apple is going strong and the potential for iPhone (and Apple gadgets) and Mac OS X to move forward are huge.
